Tia O’Brien is an award-winning  journalist, producer and writer whose credits include PBS and major TV networks.

 

Her career spans a wide range of formats: commercial and public broadcasting—television and radio, newspaper, magazines, online– for local, national, and international markets.

 

She oversaw and co-edited the English translation of Sabiha Sertel’s memoir The Struggle for Modern Turkey: Justice, Activism and a Revolutionary Female Journalist as well as curating Sertel exhibitions and publishing related articles.
